It’s the Greater Manchester Marathon this Sunday 2nd April 2017. First of all we would like to wish all the runners a great day and loads of personal records (which for some of them means finishing the race 🙂 ). The 26.3 mile route begins on the A56 Chester Road and caries on through Washway Road, Sale, Timperley and Altrincham, before making their way through Carrington to finish back at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground. If you are driving, try to avoid Talbot Road, Brooklands Road, Timperley Village and Altrincham if possible and instead take public transport as they as they expect to gather a large numbers of spectators. You can find more details on TFGM website www.tfgm.com
One of the best ways to support runners is to leave your car at our carpark and hire a bike from us, there is a great access to sale, timperley altrincham, and old trafford on the Bridgewater Canal.
Our team from Velo Times wish you a great success!
